About
When Standard Treatment Hasn't Worked
I understand what it's like when nothing seems to help.
As a child, I took 100 pills of medication every day. I couldn't participate in any physical activity until my mid-teens. My family tried everything—Western medicine, physiotherapy, chiropractic.
Nothing worked.
Then remedial massage changed everything.
Today, I've treated over 25,000 clients across 20+ years, specialising in complex cases that haven't responded to standard treatment.
If you've tried everything and you're still suffering, I might be able to help.
Because I was you.
My Personal Journey
Childhood illness required extensive medical support—100 pills of medication every day, unable to participate in any physical activity until my mid-teens.
Through remedial massage and years of structured rehabilitation, I rebuilt my capacity from zero to:
- Cycling 1,168 km around Taiwan in 6.5 days
- Rescuing 4 swimmers during a 3 km open water swim across Sun Moon Lake
- Completing 123 km half-Ironman triathlons
- Finishing multiple full-distance marathons
- Supporting hundreds of runners to achieve their marathon goals
These experiences aren't just personal achievements—they inform my practical understanding of:
✓ What it feels like when your body won't cooperate
✓ The frustration of trying everything without results
✓ Adaptation and recovery timelines
✓ Physical capacity under extreme load
✓ Mental resilience when everything's going wrong
✓ Problem-solving under pressure
I don't just understand complex cases academically.
I've lived it.

Your Treatment Journey
Stage 1: Reduce Pain
Understanding what's contributing to your pain and providing immediate relief strategies.
Stage 2: Rebuild Function
Addressing movement patterns and tissue capacity to support long-term improvement.
Stage 3: Performance & Prevention
Optimising movement efficiency and reducing future injury risk. Each person's journey is different. Treatment is tailored to where you are, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Clinical Focus Areas
Over 20+ years treating 25,000+ clients, I've developed deep expertise in six core areas. These aren't just service categories—they represent hundreds of real cases, each documented and reflected upon. Each case is approached individually, tailored to your specific situation and goals, always within scope of practice and in coordination with your healthcare team where appropriate.
⭐Chronic Pain & Unclear Diagnosis
Support for individuals with persistent pain where imaging or investigations do not fully explain symptoms, focusing on functional contributors rather than diagnostic labels. This is my core specialty—working with people who've tried everything without lasting results.
