Book Your Remedial Massage Appointment

You're in the right place

This isn't a day spa booking system—this is clinical remedial massage. We start with assessment: we identify the mechanical driver, not just treat the symptom. Your first appointment includes movement observation, then tailored treatment. Hill completed 25,000+ sessions over 20 years.

Before you select a time slot below, take two minutes to read the service guide. It'll help you choose the right session for what you need.

We begin with a brief conversation about your injury, pain, or movement concern.

You'll be asked to perform simple movements — walking, reaching, bending, or anything you find restricted or difficult — so we can observe movement quality and identify the mechanical driver.

Then we move to the treatment table for hands-on remedial work, tailored to what we found. We reassess several times throughout the session to confirm the treatment is moving in the right direction — adjusting as we go to get the best result.

Before you book—what to expect

Step 1: Choose Your Duration

We offer remedial massage — assessment-led, outcome-focused, and tailored to your specific issue. Select the duration that matches your need.

First appointments are typically 60 minutes to allow time for proper movement observation and assessment.

We recommend this length for anyone coming in with an acute issue or complex case.

Step 2: Select a Time That Suits You

The calendar below shows Hill's availability at Varsity Lakes (Gold Coast).

You'll receive a confirmation email with appointment details, plus a simple intake form to complete beforehand.

Most clients arrive 5 minutes early. Cancellations can be made up to 4 hours in advance.

Step 3: What Happens at Your First Appointment

Why Book With Hill

Treatment Durations & Pricing

All treatments are remedial massage — assessment-led, clinically focused, and tailored to your specific concern. Standard appointments are 60 minutes.

Standard Remedial Massage

Hands-on treatment targeting muscle, fascia, and connective tissue to address pain, restriction, and movement dysfunction.

Every session begins with a brief assessment to identify the mechanical driver — then we treat the cause, not just the symptoms. Suitable for chronic pain, acute injuries, recurring issues, and performance-focused clients.

Urgent Remedial Massage

After-hours appointments for acute pain that can't wait. A focused, clinically driven session targeting your most pressing issue.

This is not a relaxation service — it is outcome-focused work prioritising the specific area causing you the most grief.

Online Pain & Movement Assessment

A structured clinical video assessment — Hill reviews your history, observes your movement, and identifies the root cause. You leave with an immediate plan.

The $50 fee is credited in full toward your first in-clinic appointment if booked within 14 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What should I wear to my appointment? A: Wear comfortable, loose clothing that you can move freely in. You'll need to perform simple movements during assessment (walking, reaching, bending), so avoid tight jeans or restrictive fabrics. We'll provide a towel or sheet during treatment.

Q2: How early should I arrive? A: Arrive 5 minutes early for your appointments to allow time for check-in. This ensures we can start on time and give you the full treatment time you've booked.

Q3: Can I claim on private health insurance? A: Yes, remedial massage is eligible for private health fund rebates. We're HICAPS-enabled, so you can claim and pay the gap on-site. Check your fund's website or call us — we can help confirm your coverage before your appointment.

Q4: What's the difference between remedial and relaxation massage? A: Remedial massage is assessment-led and outcome-focused. We identify the mechanical driver of your pain or dysfunction and target that — not just the sore spot. Relaxation massage prioritises comfort and stress relief. Both have value; remedial is what we do here. If your pain hasn't resolved with standard treatment, remedial is what you need.

Q5: What if I need to cancel or reschedule? A: Cancellations and reschedules can be made up to 4 hours before your appointment through JaneApp (your booking confirmation email has a link). Cancellations within 4 hours may incur a fee. If something urgent comes up, send us an sms — we'll work with you where we can.

Private Health Insurance & Rebates

Heal Young Massage is eligible for private health fund rebates on remedial massage. We're HICAPS-enabled, so you can claim on-site and pay only the gap (if any). Not all funds cover all services — visit our Private Health Insurance page for a full list of accepted funds and coverage details.  View accepted funds→.
