Private Health Insurance & Accepted Insurance
If your extras policy includes remedial massage, you can claim your rebate at checkout using our HICAPS terminal. We accept physical member cards, and digital member cards where your fund offers one. Book online anytime.
How to Claim On-Site

Choose a time that suits you via Jane App. Private health fund claims for remedial massage generally don’t need a GP referral.
Bring Your Card
Bring your physical health fund card, or your fund’s digital member card on your phone if your fund supports tap-to-claim.
Claim at Checkout
We process your claim through HICAPS after your session. Your rebate is deducted on the spot, so you only pay the gap.
Other Funding Options
NDIS Participants
NDIS participants are very welcome at our clinic. Under current NDIS rules, remedial massage is not an NDIS-funded support, so NDIS plan funds can’t be used for our sessions — this applies to self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed plans.
You can still book as a private client and claim through your private health extras cover if your policy includes remedial massage. See the NDIS guidelines for more information.
WorkCover & CTP (Motor Accident)
Remedial massage may be considered for an accepted WorkCover or CTP (motor vehicle accident) claim, depending on your insurer. Approval sits with your insurer, not our clinic.
Please contact your case manager and obtain written approval, including your claim number, before booking. Without approval, sessions are billed as private appointments.
Health Fund FAQs
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
Generally no. Most private health funds don’t require a GP referral to claim remedial massage under extras cover. If you’re unsure, check your fund’s policy conditions before booking.
How much will I get back?
Rebate amounts depend on your fund, your policy level and any annual limits you’ve already used. We process the claim via HICAPS at checkout so you only pay the gap. Your fund’s app or policy summary will show your remedial massage limit.
Can I use my phone instead of a physical card?
Often, yes. Many funds now offer digital member cards that can be tapped on a HICAPS terminal. If your fund doesn’t offer this, please bring your physical card.
What if my fund isn’t listed?
If your fund isn’t shown above, email us before booking — many smaller or regional funds can still be claimed on the spot. Just let us know your fund name and we’ll confirm.
Can I use my NDIS funding?
No. Remedial massage is not an NDIS-funded support under current NDIS rules, including for self-managed and plan-managed participants. NDIS participants are welcome to book as private clients and claim through private health extras cover where eligible.
