Translating high intensity loading for osteoporosis to the real world: Four-year observations
Heavy weight training is one of the best way to increase the bone density and prevent fall in any age. That's why I always encourage everyone to do the weight training especially for the elderly person, especially for the woman. 4 years follow up research, 415 people(5.4% men). After 12 months high intensity loading, the fall decrease 51%, and fracture decrease 78% compare with last 12 months.
